When to go:
It’s nice to visit the ruins around 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm where the sun sets.
It’s nice to have photos taken with the backdrop of the Ruins and Mayon Volcano (you can also see the beauty of the cone shaped Mayon Volcano from here) with the nicest colors of the clouds during the sunset.

How to get there:
Take a jeep bound for Guinobatan or Camalig. Tell the driver to drop you off at Cagsawa Ruins. Once you are dropped off, you will have to take a tricycle (P7 each) to the site itself.

Note:
There are little boys or photo vendors (selling volcano eruption photos of the past) that offers trick shot for the visitors. E.g. Jumping as high as the Cagsawa Ruins. Eating the tip of the Ruins and a lot more. But I ought not to avail this service and took the photos myself, I wanted to share the beauty of the place my own eye  🙂 .
