#northbound: La Union to Vigan in 2 Days (Itinerary)

I love DIY backpacking trip, the excitement of getting to a new place that is unknown by  commuting and walking on off beaten paths is a priceless memories for me. But wandering to Luzon North’s tourist spots is not that easy, so I highly recommend that you bring/hire a car specially when your time is limited. Trust me I’ve been here several times, I can tell you the big difference: money and schedule wise.

Our North journey begins from (La Union) Bauang -> San Fernando -> San Juan -> Bacnotan -> Luna -> (Ilocos Sur) Santa -> Bantay -> Vigan.

We left Quezon City around 5AM and start our La Union tour at 11 AM.
We’re did we stay? Most of the time tourist choose Urbiztondo area when finding a place to stay in La Union. But San Juan is crowded, commercialize and expensive, so we decided to stay at Editha’s Residencia in Bauang Beach via AIRBNB. (Read my separate review here).
